BN 5450

BN U28B 5450 was built as CB&Q 106 by GE in October of 1966. It was the first of ten U28B's purchased by the Burlington Route and assigned to Lincoln, NE for maintenance.

After the BN March 1970 merger the CB&Q 106 was renumbered to BN 5450 and continued to be assigned to Lincoln, NE.

Here is a photo found on Flickr showing the 5450 at Clyde, IL in July 1981:

On a vacation stop at Lincoln, NE 7-1-82 I saw the 5450 in storage with many other GE's.

Here is a photo from Trainpix showing a rear roster of the 5450 at Minneapolis, MN 6-18-85:

BN retired the 5450 in August of 1986 and it along with some other ex-CB&Q/BN U28B's were sold to Transkentucky Transportation in April 1987 where it became TTI 255. It was painted into TTI colors and remained in service for many years. This photo from RailPictures shows the TTI 255 working Maysville, KY in 2004:

rrpicturearchives has a photo of the 255 dead at Paris, KY 5-29-10 and mentions fire damage:

Since there are no other photos of TTI 255 after that it is probably safe to say the first CB&Q U28B built has been scrapped.
