BN 2254
BN GP30 2254 was built as the CB&Q 977 in May of 1963. The 977 was the last GP30 on the Burlington Route's roster before going to GP35's three months later.
I found one photo of the CB&Q 977 on rrpicturearchives taken in November 1963. Interesting photo to be sure!
After the March 1970 BN merger the CB&Q 977 was renumbered BN 2254 and assigned to Lincoln, NE. As on the CB&Q, the number 2254 was BN's last GP30 on the roster. Kevin Piper has a photo of the 2254 in his collection still wearing Chinese Red at Kansas City, MO 9-29-73.
The 2254 was later painted BN green and while I never saw or photographed it I found more photos online.

BN 2254 was retired in June of 1984 and sold to PNC where it was scrapped.
