BN 5326
BN U30C 5326 was built by GE in April of 1972 from a group of 15 new U30C's numbered 5320-5334. They were all assigned to Lincoln, NE for maintenance.
I never photographed the 5326 and an online search of the U30C turned up no photos of it at all. By chance I checked eBay and sure enough there was a slide of it up for bid. A week later my bid won that slide so now I have a photo of it to share. The slide was taken at Denver, CO 6-14-72 so it was only a few months old here.

Brian Ambrose collection
The 5326 spent some time in the Northwest leading trains across Stampede Pass in 1973. One example was found in the Easton, WA OS book dated 11-25-73.

First time for me seeing the 5326 was on 10-17-74 leading a westbound into Vancouver, WA after it had made a trip down the Gorge. The train had units 5326/6460/6436 (U30C/SD45/SD45)
The 5326 continued in service for many more years until it was retired and scrapped by BN late in 1989.
