BN 9635

BN had placed a large order for 141 EMD SD70MAC's numbered 9572-9712 in 1995-1996 of which the 9635 was a part of. All were delivered in Grinstein green and cream executive paint.

I never photographed the BN 9635 myself and have been unable to find any photos of it before the BNSF merger. After the merger it was relettered BNSF 9635 and to this date is still in Grinstein green.

I first photographed the BNSF 9635 at Easton, WA on an empty coal train 3-15-14. Here are views showing both ends.

I last photographed the 9635 at South Seattle, WA a few months back 6-25-19 on an autorack train.

I understand a large number of SD70MAC's are in storage so it is nice to see the 9635 still out and running.
