BN 6618
BN F45 6618 was part of BN's first new order of F45's numbered after the inherited GN F45's that carried numbers BN 6600-6613. The new BN F45's were numbered 6614-6625 and built 7-9/70.
On paper, BN 6618 was noted leading a westbound freight over Stampede Pass the evening of 12-14-71. This page is from the ex-NP depot's register book at Easton, WA.

I took a few roster photos of BN 6618 at Auburn, WA 10-2-80, By now it was already over 10 years old!

And this view shows the BN 6618 from the rear end.

I took one last photo of the 6618 at Skykomish, WA on 2-18-84.

Like most of the BN F45's the 6618.was retired after just 15 years of active service. The 6618 was retired in August of 1985 and scrapped.
