BN 5020
BN C30-7's 5000-5046 were built by GE in October/November 1979 and were intended for use on BN's growing coal train service being assigned to Alliance, NE.
While on trip to Kansas in 1982 I photographed the 5020 leading a westbound out of Alliance, NE on 7-3-82 with 7 units.
Later in the day I caught the same train at Moorcroft, WY but now with 5 units.
The 5020 was still on the BN roster at the time of the 1996 BNSF merger. It was intended to be relettered BNSF 5020 but was retired before receiving BNSF reporting marks. The 5020 was sold and relettered RMGX 5020 in 1999. This photo from rrpicturearchives shows the RMGX 5020 in service in Indiana 8/99.

The last photos of the 9371 were taken in 2013. Current disposition of the C30-7 is unknown.
